2022 International Christmas Pastry sale

Do you have a sweet tooth? The Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Biloxi is having their International Christmas Pastry Sale this weekend.

Every holiday season for the past 40 years, Greek pastries, Greek bread, tiropita (cheese pies) and spanakopita (spinach pies) have been sold along the Gulf Coast.

Normally, the pastries are sold along with Greek food at their international festival, but since parking has become an issue, the festival has stopped.

Orders are taken in August since it takes the church members a month to prepare for the sale.

However, walk-ups are able to meet under the tent set up outside for pastry purchases. Event coordinator Maria Loukatos said, “We have a lot of support from the people. They love our pastries. They love our church. We now have a full-time priest. So, we have services every Sunday and major holidays during the week, so we are growing and that’s our goal.”

The pastry sale will be at the church located at 255 Beauvoir Road in Biloxi this weekend at different times.

All proceeds will go to benefit the church.
