Southern Miss football has played its last game at UAB’s Legion Field.

Due to precautionary reasons resulting from COVID-19 concerns within the Golden Eagles programs, Friday’s originally scheduled game has been canceled.

The long-standing rivalry was supposed to be UAB’s final game at the historic Legion Field, but it won’t be USM’s final game of the season as the Black and Gold expect to return to action next Friday when they travel to face UTEP at 7 p.m.

This is USM’s third game impacted by COVID-19 so far this season.
