Hurricane Hunters get a look at Hurricane Sally as it inches closer to the U.S.
This is a video of the plane ‘Miss Piggy’ as it moves over the category one storm Monday. Hurricane Hunters are following Sally as it moves through the Gulf of Mexico.
The center of the storm is currently 65 miles southeast of Mississippi, packing wind speeds up to 85 miles per hour.
The National Weather Service predicts Sally could bring ‘historic and life threatening flooding’ to parts of Alabama and the Florida Panhandle.
Hurricane Sally is expected to make landfall Wednesday mid to late morning close to Mobile Bay.
