The Gulfport School District now has customized machines to help check temperatures for staff.
The district has partnered with Mississippi-based Howard Industries to install customized machines to check staff temperatures. It will read a person’s body temperature.
If the temperature is normal, the machine will print a label for the person to wear while at work. If the temperature is high, it will sound an alert.
The machines have been customized with Gulfport blue and the district’s ‘G’ logo and relieves staff members of the task of taking the temperature of every individual entering an office.
