LONG BEACH, Miss. (WXXV) — Police responded to a report of a shooting early Wednesday morning in the 100 block of North Seashore Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers found 33-year-old male Brandon Bodie suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Bodie was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders.
During the course of the investigation, it was determined that Bodie and 61-year-old Kenneth Sellier of Long Beach got into an altercation inside a residence they shared. Bodie was then shot multiple times.
Sellier was taken into custody and charged with manslaughter.
Sellier’s bond was set at $500,000 and he was takn to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center.
Long Beach Police, Gulfport Police, and the Harrison County District Attorney’s Office all assisted with the investigation.
