Jackson County Sheriff’s investigators have arrested two more St. Martin Middle School students for allegedly threatening to ‘shoot up’ the school.
Sheriff Mike Ezell says the charges against the 13-year-old boys are in connection with the threats made Tuesday, October 8th. The latest arrests occurred Thursday morning at the school.
Today’s arrests bring the number to five juveniles charged this week with making terrorist threats against the middle school. Under state law, they are considered felony offenses.
Sheriff Mike Ezell says as long as the threats of violence against schools continue, arrests will be made.
