If so, an upcoming televised debate between republican candidates Tate Reeves and Bill Waller, Junior may help you make up your mind.
We’re proud to announce we here at WXXV will be carrying the live televised debate on our station Wednesday, August 21st.
The 30-minute debate between Reeves and Waller will start at 7 pm.
Reeves rounded up nearly 49 percent of the vote in the August 6th primaries, falling just short of the 50 percent plus one vote he needed to secure the republican nomination for governor.
Waller picked up more than 33 percent of the primary vote.
So, be sure to tune into our WXXV Fox channel on Wednesday, August 21st at 7 pm as Tate Reeves and Bill Waller Jr. take the battle to the podium on live TV, just six days before the Tuesday, August 27th primaries.
The winner of the runoff will move on to the November 5th general election, and face democrat Jim Hood, who easily advanced to the general election garnering 69 percent of primary votes in his race.
