It all goes back to furthering the lives of youth in the Jackson County community, but with a little fun along the way.
The 27th annual Steak and Steak dinner will be held in Pascagoula tonight. Over 350 people will gather to eat steak at this event, which is their biggest fundraiser of the year.
Pascagoula native and the first female NFL referee Sarah Bailey Thomas is the night’s keynote speaker. There will also be a silent auction. Jackson County Boys and Girls Club Board Member Richard Lucas said, “We serve so many kids. I think we have about 650 members right now, probably serve over 1,000 a year counting all the activities we do. It’s really important to bring people together from the community so they will know what all is going on at the Boys and Girls Club and continue to support all the good things that we do.”
The silent auction begins at 6 and the dinner starts at 6:30.
