Already heralded as one of the top high school baseball players in the country after winning Gatorade Player of the Year for Mississippi, Biloxi’s Colten Keith has the chance to validate that claim over the weekend.
Keith is heading to Cleveland for the inaugural High School All-Star Game as a part of Major League Baseball’s All-Star Weekend.
Keith is representing for the national team as the only player from Mississippi out of 40 standouts selected from the prospect development pipeline.
In 2019, the Arizona State commit led the Indians to the 6A South State Championship series while batting a whopping .527 and leading Big Red in every major offensive category.
The first-ever showcase will lead off at 12:30 p.m. Saturday from Progressive Field.
