The campaign trail continues to heat up as voters make up their minds about who they will vote for in the state’s August primaries. One of those candidates is Bill Waller, Jr. Waller once served as the Chief Justice of the Mississippi Supreme Court. Now he’s running as a republican for Governor of Mississippi. He’s made several visits to the coast so far.
Wednesday at noon, he will speak at the Jackson County Republican Club’s meeting at noon at the Gautier campus of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. The public is invited to attend. Waller is running against current Lt. Governor Tate Reeves and Robert Foster in the August 6 primary.
The winner of this republican primary will go on to face the democratic primary winner in the state’s general election on Nov. 5.
