Memorial Day Weekend is upon us. When grilling this holiday weekend, it is important to exercise caution.
There are many tips you can use to have fun, but stay safe this weekend.
First, grill outside and away from any structures. Make sure your grill is clean. If the flame goes out with a propane grill, don’t relight it right away.
Shed BBQ and Blues Joint Founder Brad Orrison says the most important tip to remember is keeping the kids safe. “We’ve got a bunch of kids. We’ve got five little boys at our house. The most important thing is make sure the kids have somewhere to play and it’s not right next to the grill. Whether you’re using a propane grill or Kings for charcoal, stick burner, pellet grill, just make sure the kids have somewhere to play.”
