The Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art decided to switch things up for fundraisers so it was time to set sail on the Betty Ann Riverboat with a delicious sunset dinner cruise.
This exclusive event only had 100 tickets available. For just $100, guests and their significant others hit the waters while enjoying champagne, crab avocado toast, crispy Boudin, Korean pork belly, and so much more.
The cruise was a new and innovative way to generate funds for projects dedicated to the Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art. Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art Assistant Director Heather Rumfelt said, “In this day in age, when everything is accessibly, we have to constantly be creative and do different things. This is allowing us to do that. This has never been done, I don’t think, as a fundraiser. It gives us an opportunity to maybe reach a different demographic.”
Representatives from the museum tell News 25 they definitely see this experiment becoming something that happens every year.
