If you’re looking to experience the beauty of our Mississippi Gulf Coast while giving back to our local art community, we have just the ticket for you.
The Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art is inviting everyone to hop on board the Betsy Ann Riverboat and enjoy a beautiful sunset dinner cruise for the Biloxi-based museum’s spring fundraiser ‘Anchors Aweigh.’
America’s last remaining stern wheel paddle boat sets the stage for the fundraiser and is scheduled to head out into the Mississippi South tomorrow, Friday April12th.
Guests are asked to be at the dock between Margaritaville and the Golden Nugget in Biloxi by 5:30 p.m. The cruise rolls out from 6 to 9 p.m. and is promised to be packed with delicious food and great music. Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art Marketing and Public Relations Director Nathen Lytle said, “Heather and the Monkey King. They are out of Bay St. Louis. They’ve covered a ton of events with us before. They do jazz standards, blues, and rockabillies. It’s going to be great.”
Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art Director of Development Brenda Blount said, “White Pillars is our caterer. Chef Austin Sumrall is doing Korean pork belly. He’s doing crab and avocado toast, just a variety of seafood dishes. We’ll also have vegan and vegetarian dishes. We’ll also have vegan dishes available and gluten free and mini tiramisu. We’re really excited to have him.”
