The New Orleans Saints had a monopoly on Ohio State players with six of them on the 53 man active roster, two more than any other college. As of today, that number is down to five.
According to the NFL Network, The Saints have released safety Kurt Coleman, who was due $5.5 million in 2019. The Saints are reportedly leaving the door open for Coleman’s return, but not at the price he was slated to be paid.
In 2018, Coleman had 32 total tackles with no interceptions and one forced fumble against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The other former Buckeyes are Eli Apple, Ted Ginn Jr., Michael Thomas, Von Bell, and Marshon Lattimore.
