It was a ‘punny’ morning at Harrison Central Elementary School.
Local author Andrea Vilemont Moreau stopped by to share her book called ‘I Mustache you to Read with me.’ The children’s book tells the story of a boy who is having a hard time getting his parents to read with him and convincing them to read with him by using puns.
Students even got the chance to use their imaginations and act out some of the puns. “I share with the students all about language, reading at home with family, puns, figurative language. We could read a book about gravity. I bet it would be hard to put down.”
Andrea started her career as a librarian and hopes to inspire kids to read.
