In fall 2019, Keon will go on to the University of Pennsylvania with an academic scholarship. Angelique will attend Cornell University and Olivia is planning on attending Hamilton College in New York.

Each student says they are proud of these accomplishments, but have to thank the teachers and staff at Harrison Central for their success. Keon said, “Over the years, Harrison Central has been adding AP courses so between that and just self-studying and taking ACT, things like that, it’s definitely helped me prepare.”

Angelique said, “I am really thanking the counselors and teachers for putting me through such course work and for getting me to stay in all the AP classes that I took.”

Olivia said, “I definitely think AP psych more specifically prepared me for the psychology aspect and other AP courses that we have here as well as the teachers and counselors.”
