2019 Annual Mississippi Coastal Cleanup rescheduled

This weekend’s weather forecast has prompted organizers of the annual Coastal Cleanup to reschedule the event for another weekend.

The 2019 Annual Mississippi Coastal Cleanup was originally scheduled to take place this Saturday, but they say because of the possibility for some heavy tropical rain, they’ve decided to push it back to Saturday, November 16^th from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Each year, thousands of volunteers throughout South Mississippi join together and spread out along beaches in Hancock, Harrison, and Jackson counties to pick up debris and trash on the beaches.
