Woman Beaten At Hard Rock Parking Lot

A Louisiana woman made her way to Biloxi Friday night for her friend’s bachelorette party, but what was supposed to be a night of fun landed her with a bruised face and a traumatic story.

“I couldn’t understand her, I honestly thought she was being raped by the way she was screaming, I couldn’t comprehend anything she was saying, I told her to calm down and she said I’m bleeding everywhere, and I said what do you mean? she said, I just got beat.”

Derrick Baham got a chilling call at about 3:45 Saturday morning.

His wife Summer Baham, had been attacked in the parking lot of the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Biloxi.

“This was not just a simple attack; there was a lot of anger, a lot of hate in this.”

Baham was walking towards her car on the second floor of the casinos parking garage when she was approached by four men-who according to Baham made advances towards her, which she ignored.

Once inside her vehicle one of the men opened the door of her car and began beating her as his three friends stood by and watched the scene turn violent.

“I could see nothing, he had me pinned in my vehicle, and as soon as he opened my door he just started swinging.”

“The only thing I could think of was fight back, I punched him I kicked him, I scratched him, and he kept coming with the blows.”

Luckily for Baham, two men in the garage heard her screaming and called 911.

“They saved me, they really did, because theres no telling if he would’ve continued to beat me.”

Biloxi police department has an open investigation on the case and is asking for the public’s help in identifying the man responsible for the attack.

“I wouldn’t call him a man, that guys a coward, to be honest with you.”
