2 teens killed, 1 person injured in Mississippi shooting

MAGEE, Miss. — Two teenagers were killed and a third person was injured in a shooting in Mississippi’s Simpson County.

Sheriff Paul Mullins said deputies were called to a home around 3:30 a.m. Monday. A 17-year-old was dead at the scene.

Mullins says 19-year-old Datavion Fairley was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. A third person, 24-year-old Jarvis Loftin, was injured in the shooting and was hospitalized.

Mullins says the incident is being investigated as a double homicide. A reward of up to $2,500 is available for any information leading to an arrest.
