More than two million dollars will go toward safer school bus routes, better lighting at intersections, a city hall fitness trail and more.
The city has been fortunate enough to receive over two million dollars in grants over the last three years. Diamondhead City Manager Clovis Reed said, “It’s a wonderful feeling to be able to upgrade the infrastructure and provide opportunities for the residents to enjoy their life more and provide economic development opportunities as well. We’re thrilled to be able to provide all these additional amenities.”
