2/12 – Mild tonight with a weekend rain chance

We’ll stay mostly cloudy and mild tonight with lows near 53. Friday starts cloudy but becomes sunnier through the afternoon, with highs reaching 70 and light south winds.

Rain chances return Saturday afternoon, with scattered showers developing in the afternoon. By Saturday night, rain becomes widespread, and thunderstorms are possible into early Sunday. Showers and a few storms may linger through much of Sunday before tapering off Sunday night.

Drier air moves in for Mardi Gras with mostly sunny skies and highs near 71. Quiet, seasonably warm weather continues through midweek, with highs in the low to mid 70s and overnight lows generally in the 50s.
