18-year-old killed in crash in Jackson County
On Sunday, August 20, 2023, at approximately 12:01 a.m., the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a deadly crash on 57 in Jackson County.
A 2018 Volkswagen Passat driven by 18-year-old Justin Bean of Vancleave, MS, was traveling east on Highpoint Road, crossing over Highway 57 and colliding with a ditch. Justin Bean received fatal injuries from the crash.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
