18 wheeler and truck accident in Hancock County

Highway 603 near Stennis Airport Drive is now clear after an accident this morning.
Today around 8 a.m. a truck collided with an 18 wheeler causing a diesel spill. Authorities say the truck ran into the 18 wheeler, hitting the big rig’s diesel tank and causing fuel to spill out over the roadway.
One lane was blocked while crews worked to clean up the spill. The area was cleared by 9:45 a.m.
According to Mississippi Highway Patrol, the driver of the truck was taken in for medical attention, but there were no serious injuries.
