17-year-old charged as an adult in armed robbery in Jackson County

A 17-year-old is now behind bars in Jackson County charged as an adult with armed robbery.

Sheriff Mike Ezell says Treyvontae Javaughn Livingston was armed with a handgun on the night of March 31st when he held up Broome’s Gas Station on Washington Avenue, north of Ocean Springs.

Livingston turned himself in Tuesday afternoon. He is being held with no bond. An initial court appearance is pending.
