17 local athletes were selected to compete in the State Games of Mississippi

This past week, seventeen student athletes from our viewing area have been competing at Meridian Community College for the State Games of Mississippi! After tryouts in early June, the state of Mississippi was divided into eight different districts, where the best of the best play each other all week long.

District 8, which consists of our coast guys, placed second in the tournament and won silver! Congratulations to our All Star selections which include Kellan Burge, Adam Clower, Taevion Collier, Ayden Dartez, Ayden Demoran, Tristan Fox, Brayden Havard, Cayler Havard, Jaylen Johnson, Jaxson Knight, Christian McGaul, Carson Pierce, Roston Ragon, Colt Robertson, AJ Rossi, Adam Rugg and Thomas Stennis. All 2025 home run champions call the coast home as well! Shoutout to St. Stanislaus’s Ayden Dartez, Ocean Springs’s Tristan Fox and Hancock’s Jaxon Knight.
