16th annual Shrimp Boat Contest
The Blessing of the Fleet is this weekend in Biloxi and children are able to take part in the fun too!
The 16th annual Shrimp Boat Contest is open to all kids ages five to 12. The deadline to enter is coming up, boats must be brought to St. Michael’s in Biloxi by July 3rd.
Kids can build a boat from milk cartons; those boats no bigger than a shoe box. For judging, the child’s name and phone number must be on the bottom of their boat.
Winners will be announced during the Shrimp Queen Pageant on July 6th at the Slavonian Lodge around 6 p.m.
