16-year-old wanted in deadly shooting in Slidell arrested on the Coast

HANCOCK COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- A 16-year-old wanted for a recent deadly shooting in Slidell was taken into custody in Hancock County this week.
The teen turned himself in to Hancock County Sheriff’s Deputies late Monday night.
It happened after U.S. Marshals and Deputies learned the teen was hiding in Hancock County following last Wednesday’s shooting at Slidell’s Possum Hollow Park.
18-year-old Chancelor Parker died in that shooting.
The teen will now be extradited back to Louisiana to face a first-degree homicide charge as well as two counts of attempted homicide.
