15th annual Jolly Gala

It’s Jolly time! The 15th annual Jolly Gala will be letting the good times roll all night at the IP Casino.

This year’s sold out gala’s theme was Mardi Gras with music to fit and elaborate Mardi Gras outfits. The silent auction had some pretty legendary items including multiple signed sports memorabilia and all-inclusive vacations.

The mission of the Bacot McCarty Foundation is to benefit youth, arts, and education and that’s what tonight was all about.

All of the proceeds went to multiple groups on the Coast for that mission like Rock U2, The Boys and Girls Club, and several others.

It is the biggest event of the year for the Bacot McCarty Foundation, bringing in more than $400,000. Bacot McCarty Foundation Chairman Rich Westfall said, “This is our biggest event of the year. This is where we raise the majority of the money for Bacot McCarty Foundation. When people start coming in and you see how much fun it is and the band’s playing, the girls are dancing, and everyone is participating in the silent auction, it all adds up to a great evening.”

If you missed out on the fun tonight, don’t worry the Jolly fun doesn’t end tonight. Tomorrow, the annual Jolly Golf Tournament will tee-off at 8 a.m. at Shell Landing Golf Course.
