15-minute parking spots added in Gulfport

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- With new remodeling coming to Hancock Whitney Bank Drive-thru in downtown Gulfport, the city has added four new 15-minute parking spaces at the Hancock Whitney Bank Location.

These designated short-term spots are aimed at creating a much easier way for residents and visitors to access and exit the bank fairly quickly and complete quick errands in the area.

The 15-minute parking initiative is also part of the city’s broader strategy to just manage some of the traffic more efficiently in high-activity zones.

By providing clearly marked, time-limited spaces, the city hopes to reduce unnecessary backups caused by lack of parking in busy areas.
