13th annual Taste of Long Beach returns to the city

Serving up more than 20 food and beverage samples, the 13th annual Taste of Long Beach has returned.

Earlier this evening, the Long Beach Senior Center was packed with food and entertainment. For $40, eventgoers got the chance to taste local restaurants, bid for silent auction items, listen to live music, and network.

The money raised by Taste of Long Beach goes to fund the chamber of commerce’s annual teacher, business, and student grants. Long Beach Chamber of Commerce Chair Michelle Kinsey said, “I want to make sure I thank our presenting sponsor JLB, thank them for supporting the Long Beach Chamber but we have many of our local restaurants. We have Dulce, we have Bradley’s, we have Little Rays, Juan Tequilas, we’ve got Radishes which is a new restaurant in Long Beach and then so many beverage vendors. So, if you’re not here yet or did not get to attend plan for next year already.”

Guests also entered for a chance to win over $300 in gift cards from participating Taste of Long Beach restaurants.
