13th annual Bears on Patrol wraps up collection drive
This past weekend, the North Bay Civitan Club of D’Iberville and St. Martin held its 13th annual Bears on Patrol Drive-thru to conclude its collection of stuffed animals.
Overall, the club collected more than 180 stuffed animals for its cause. These bears were sent to the Mississippi Highway Patrol team who will use them to help comfort children in high-stress scenarios such as car accidents.
The club also held a 9-11 tribute to honor those who lost their lives during the terror attacks on September 11th, 2001.
