13-year-old suspect in Picayune shooting turns himself in
PICAYUNE, Miss. (WXXV)- In Picayune, a 13-year-old is being charged as an adult after allegedly shooting a 16-year-old at an apartment complex Monday. The suspect turned himself into Picayune police.
Police were called to Lewis Circle just before 2 p.m. yesterday afternoon.
Investigators say multiple rounds were fired by both the victim and the 13-year-old suspect with the suspect allegedly firing first.
The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
