12th annual Children’s Walking Parade took place in Biloxi

Mardi Gras is a way of life for most cities on the Coast and Biloxi is proving that statement to be true.

The City of Biloxi held its 12th annual Children’s Walking Parade on Saturday. It’s a family fun event that gives children the opportunity to learn about the culture of Mardi Gras through participation.

Children ages 12 and younger went parading down the street, throwing beads from their decorated floats, bicycles, and wagons.

The theme of this year’s parade was ‘Leaving you Spellbound’ in association with the Gulf Coast Carnival Association.

If you’re looking to be a part of this event next year, registration is free.
