12/6 – Rob’s Drier Tuesday Morning Forecast

After another 1.59″ of rain over the past 24 hours, the low-pressure and cold front is now to the east of the area. Today will bring cloudy/breezy conditions as wrap-around moisture will keep the cloud coverage along the Gulf coast. With a tightening gradient behind the front, winds will be blustery, gusting into the upper teens/low 20 mph range. A secondary cold front will move into the area overnight and linger as a stationary front through Thursday before exiting east. VERY COLD air behind this second system will have the mercury falling into the upper 20s/low 30s Friday/Saturday mornings…before the air mass modifies to seasonal temps early next week.
