12/11 – Rob’s WARM Weekend Forecast
As strong high-pressure to the east pumps Gulf moisture into the area…temps will continue to be 4-6 degrees above seasonal norm. A developing cold front to the west will bring the threat for SEVERE STORMS to the area Sunday afternoon-night. The main threat will be straight line winds and small hail, but isolated TORNADOES are also possible. The SEVERE THREAT will move east after sunset with rain lingering through Monday morning. A cool-down early next week will rapidly warm as return flow begins by Tuesday.
