12/10 – Rob’s Thursday “Morning News” Forecast
Strong high-pressure dominant along the eastern U.S. is beginning to weaken and move into the NE ‘tern Gulf…which will enhance our moisture flow. This will allow for a cold front to dip into the gulf south for the weekend. The boundary will affect the area mainly on Sunday, but a few showers are possible late in the day Saturday. Sunday afternoon could bring the THREAT for SEVERE STORMS…mainly in the form of strong winds…but TORNADIC ACTIVITY is also a possibility. The weather will clear overnight Sunday with Drying conditions Monday afternoon…
