12 new members set to be inducted into the Gulfport sports Hall of Fame

There’s some exciting news for a handful of former coast athletes and coaches will soon be inducted as members of the Gulfport sports Hall of Fame for the class of 2024.

Eligibility was limited to athletes and coaches who are graduates or coaches at Gulfport High, Gulfport East High, St. John High, North Gulfport High, or 33rd Avenue High.

The list includes:

  • Elliot Barkum, 33rd Avenue
  • Shirley Jones-Bowles, 33rd Avenue
  • Chris Haskin, Harrison Central
  • Daryl Theodore, Harrison Central
  • Don Hawthorne, Gulfport
  • Jeff Jenkins, Gulfport
  • Shell Joseph, Gulfport
  • Owen Miller, Gulfport
  • John Rea, Gulfport
  • George Rosetti, Gulfport
  • Keith Williams, Sr., Gulfport
