12/9 – Sam Parker’s “More Rain” Monday Night Forecast

Rainfall across the area today was pretty good. you can see a streak across from the heavier amounts. Obviously from the title I am seeing more rain tomorrow. in the morning it looks to be more scattered, on and off across the area. in the evening it looks to be more wide spread and could see heavier pockets of rainfall. High rainfall rates in some of the heavier storms could overwhelm local drainage capacities leading to street flooding as well of ponding of water low lying and poor drainage areas. In areas where the heaviest rain falls, some roads may become impassable, especially around underpasses. A strong cold front to come late Tuesday most likely early Wednesday and that’s when the rain will be over.
