12/29 – A Couple Cold Nights to End 2025
Meteorologist Sam Lucey has a look at your forecast
Cold air settles in tonight under mostly clear skies, with lows dipping to the upper 20s and low 30s, and a brisk north breeze making it feel extra chilly as we head into Tuesday morning. Sunshine sticks around throughout the day, but temperatures remain considerably cooler, with highs in the low 50s, followed by another cold night and widespread frost early Wednesday morning.
A warming trend kicks in midweek, with sunny skies on Wednesday and highs climbing into the upper 50s, then into the low to mid-60s for New Year’s Day. Clouds gradually increase Thursday night as moisture returns, setting the stage for a few showers by Friday afternoon and a better chance of rain and thunderstorms Friday night.
The weekend looks quieter and warmer overall, with a few early showers possible Saturday morning, then mostly sunny skies and highs in the low 70s.
