12/27 – Brantly’s “Scattered Showers” Friday Evening Forecast

Overcast skies will continue through the overnight hours into tomorrow morning. Patchy fog is already developing along the coast and is expected to increase over the next few hours.

Cloudy skies are expected and scattered showers are likely in the afternoon and evening. Rain chances are running at around 40 percent.

Similar conditions are expected Saturday, but rain chances go up to around 60 percent as we will see a little more coverage with showers.

On Sunday, rain chances go up to around 70 percent as our next cold front approaches. Widespread showers and a few thunderstorms are expected, but the overall severe weather threat is low. Following the passage of the cold front, temperatures will drop by 10 to 15 degrees heading into next week. Highs will be in the lower 60s with overnight lows in the 40s.
