12/26 – Jeff’s “Colder This Week” Tuesday Afternoon Forecast

This afternoon will feature mid/upper-level clouds continuing. Temperatures will be near seasonal averages in the lower/mid-60s and the breeze relaxing some will make it feel more tolerable. It will be cold overnight with temperatures in the 40s for much of the area. Cloud cover will continue to stick around.

Wednesday won’t be too unlike today with only winds being lighter out of the west, and more breaks in the cloud cover. A cold front makes its way through South Mississippi tomorrow night which will clear out our skies and bring a reinforcing shot of colder air.

The middle-to-end of the week will bring the coldest stretch of the season thus far. Temperatures will run about ten or so degrees below average. Thursday – Saturday morning will also feature temperatures near the freezing mark. Be sure to take necessary precautions.
