12/24 – Rob Knight’s “Christmas-Eve” Morning Forecast
As warmer/above seasonal temperatures begin to move in, fog will be a concern through the rest of the workweek into the weekend. Daytime high temperatures will climb to around 70 degrees through the remainder of the workweek and with a humid flow to begin, expect overnight radational fog.
The next cold front is advertised for the weekend. This feature should bring a warm front, although weak, through the area Friday night. The cold front is expected to move through the area Sunday. Models seem to want to suppress the main line of activity with another line in advance of the approaching system. This squall line should provide for a line of intense showers/t-storms and potentially a SEVERE THREAT going into Sunday morning. We will have a few days to watch this system before making a decision on timing and intensity for this weekend.
