12/20 – Sam Parker’s “Chilly Weekend” Friday Night Forecast

Chilly few days ahead then warm and mild temperatures as we get closer to Christmas. We saw plenty of sun shine and pleasant afternoon steps in the mid 60s today. A cold front came across and made it through a little after 6pm. This cold front will cause freezing temperatures across the northern half of our area. Near freezing along the coast. This will be a light freeze so the plants and pets need to be indoors. Pipes will be good. We will only warm up around the upper 50 on Saturday and Sunday with clear skies. We will really see a warmer transition on Tuesday next week but also bring the moisture and potential showers closer to the 25th. Christmas day forecast at the moment is High of 70 with a 30% chance of showers.
