12/20 – Brantly’s “Patchy Fog Tonight, Mild Day Tomorrow” Sunday Forecast
By Monday, skies will clear as the drier air finally makes its way into the area and a couple day period of drier and milder weather will develop. Lows tonight will dip down into the upper 30s inland to low 40s along the coast as low level moisture and potential fog will probably limit temperatures from falling further. Monday will see a warm up as temperatures climb back into the upper 50s into low 60s with plenty of sunshine.
The first half of the holiday week will continue to be dry, through noon Wednesday. There will be a narrow window of rain showers for Wednesday night and Thursday morning, with a few embedded thunderstorms possible.
Clear skies and light winds will allow temperatures to fall into the upper 30s across inland counties with mid to low 40s at the beaches by early Tuesday morning. Daytime highs will top out in the 60s across the area by Tuesday afternoon, although a few locations inland may struggle to hit 60. Low temperatures by Wednesday morning will be slightly warmer than the previous night, mainly across the southern half of the area. Temperatures will still bottom out in the upper 30s across the northern half of the area with temperatures only falling into the mid to upper 40s closer to the coast by Wednesday morning.
