12/2 – Frosty Start on Wednesday with an Unsettled Pattern Through The Week

It’s a chilly night across the region, with frost expected to form after 3 a.m. Skies stay partly cloudy with temperatures dipping to around 35, and a light north breeze at 5–10 mph.
Sunshine takes over around mid-morning, and we’ll warm to near 59 in the afternoon. Clouds move back in again on Wednesday night, and a weak Gulf low brings a good chance for showers after midnight. Lows fall to the mid 40s, with up to a half-inch of rain possible.
A much wetter pattern sets in for your Thursday. Expect widespread showers, with a few thunderstorms possible in the afternoon. Highs reach the mid to upper 50s with a steady northeast wind at 5–10 mph. Rain and thunder remain possible Thursday night with lows settling near 48°.
Friday continues the soggy trend with more showers and possibly thunderstorms. Temperatures reach the upper 50s, and rain chances sit near 90%. Showers linger into Friday night, with lows in the upper 40s.
The unsettled weather holds into Saturday with a 50% chance of showers early in the day and highs near 60. Clouds dominate, and a few showers may continue into Saturday night before tapering off around midnight. Lows fall to the mid 40s again.
By Sunday, we will finally dry out. Mostly sunny skies return with highs climbing to the mid-60s. Sunday night stays clear and cool around 43.
Early next week looks pleasantly quiet. Monday brings sunshine and highs near 61, and Tuesday stays sunny and seasonal with highs in the low to mid 60s.
