12/17 – Brantly’s “Cold Night Ahead” Tuesday Afternoon Forecast
Rain has cleared the area, but cloudy skies are continuing to stick around. Expect overcast conditions to continue through the evening and gusty north winds bring in much colder air.
Tonight, lows will drop into the lower 30s along the coast. A light freeze is possible for most of South Mississippi. When you factor in the wind, it will feel like it is in the mid 20s by Wednesday morning.
Tomorrow, sunny skies return and temperatures will warm up to the lower 50s, which is below average for this time of the year.
Temperatures will stay cool and we will likely stay dry through the end of the work week. Our next chance for rain will be Friday night into Saturday.
