With strong high-pressure from the NE down to the gulf south, it’s a mild start with a few light showers over the sound. Today will bring partly/mostly cloudy skies along with a few light showers along the 3 coastal counties. Breezy conditions will have winds gusting into the upper teens to low 20 mph range. A cold front to the west will stay at bay for several days through Sunday when it will begin to move across the gulf south. Rain chances will elevate Sunday through early next week.
