11/4 – Temperatures Warming Above “Normal”, Still Looking Dry

Meteorologist Sam Lucey has a look at your extended forecast

The next few days will bring plenty of sunshine and comfortable, but warmer weather. Highs will stay in the mid to upper 70s through Saturday, with clear to partly cloudy skies and light southerly winds making for a pleasant stretch overall.

A few isolated showers could develop Friday into early Saturday, but most areas will stay dry. If we do see any rain, it would likely total less than 0.10″ across South Mississippi, so we should be remaining on the drier side for the weekend.

By Sunday, a cold front moves through, bringing noticeably cooler and breezier conditions, and causing overnight lows to dip into the 40s with highs falling to near 60 for your Monday and Veterans Day.
