11/16 – Trey’s “Dry Frontal Passage” Thursday Night Forecast
Meteorologist Trey Tonnessen
A trough digging over the Great Lakes will start approaching the Gulf Coast, and bring a cold front along with it. Ahead of the front, compressional warming will allow temperatures to be even warmer than Thursday, on Friday (about 5 degrees warmer). That will be paired with minimal rain chances. Very spotty showers with the cold frontal passage tomorrow night and into Saturday can't be completely ruled out. The reason that the cold frontal passage will be mostly dry is, we are so far removed from the main forcing of the trough. As always: A cloudy day is no match for a sunny disposition. Be nice to each other. - Meteorologist Trey Tonnessen -
