100 Women DBA awards five local students scholarships

Five graduating seniors from Hancock County were awarded scholarships by the 100 Women DBA.

The 100 Men Hall’s membership organization, 100 Women DBA, awards scholarships annually to three young women of color. In addition, in memory of Elena Maria Lorenza Lucore, two additional memorial scholarships were awarded.

Here are this year’s recipients of the 100 Women DBA College Scholarships. They each received $1,500:

  • Anayah Raelihn Wood of Hancock High
  • Karima Wallace, a home school graduate
  • Anajah Laneaux of Bay High

The graduates received the Elena Lucore Memorial Scholarship worth $500 are:

  • Kiana Han of Bay High
  • Kaelyn Acker of Hancock High
